The famous dargah of Channapatna is of Hazrath Syed Mohammed Aqheel Shah Qadhiri Al-Baghdadi (RA), who came from Baghdad so the name ends with "Baghdadi". He is one of the direct descendents of Qutb-ul-Aqtab, Mahboob-e-Subhani, Ghaus as-Saqalain, Piran-e-Peer, Hazrath Shaikh Abdul Qadhir Jeelani Al-Baghdadi (Raliyallahu Tha'ala Anhu Va Rahimahu).

Hazrath Syed Mohammed Aqheel Shah Qadhiri Baghdadi (RA) was a great Qutb of his time and people use to flock under his holy feet to solve their problems and to take superior sermon from this Great Qutb who was the ocean of Irfan and the Mazhar of Wilayath.

Famous Lal Bagh Botanical Garden of Bangalore was named by Hazrath Hyder Ali Khan Bahadhur (RA), who set up three Gardens - Lalbagh at Srirangapatna, a garden at Malavalli and the Lalbagh Gardens (Bangalore) which was referred to as the Rose & Cypress Garden till 1856. Hazrath Hyder Ali Khan Bahadhur (RA) commissioned the building of this garden in 1760 but his son, Hazrath Tippu Sultan Shaheed (RA) completed it. Lalbagh is a 240 acre (971,000 sq.m. - almost 1 sq.km) garden and is located on the southern part of Bangalore. It holds a number of flower shows, especially on the Republic Day (26th January). The garden has over 1,000 species of flora. The Glass House, modeled on London's Crystal Palace (now re-modelled with a different layout), is the center of attraction. Hazrath Hyder Ali Khan Bahadhur (RA) laid out these famous botanical gardens and his son added horticultural wealth to them by importing trees and plants from several countries. The Lalbagh Gardens were commissioned during 18th century and over the years it acquired India's first lawn-clock and the subcontinent's largest collection of rare plants.

Hazrat Syed Aqil Sha Qadri Baghdadi (R.A) of Chennapatna, Karnataka

Dargah ascribed to Hazrat Syed Aqil Shah Khadri, who is described as preceptor of Nawab Haider Ali.
A verandah runs around the square structure and the stone pillars on the west are designed as those of a temple. The Urus is held annually which attracts thousands of people across all faiths and religion. The building is surrounded by a number of tombs. One more Dargah ascribed to Syed Ibrahaim, a Commandant of Tippu Sultan is situated on the Bangalore road, facing east. It has a small central dome which is less squattish than that of the other tombs and has a Kalasha stop. The main door has a tablet over the lintel stating that "tomb of Sayyed Ibrahim, Commandant of Bangalore". Near this Dargah outside is the tomb of Ummar Khan. It is said that it has a large underground chamber in which hangs a cradle. Across the main road near the tank are two Dargahs ascribed to Rouse-Ullah-Shah and Huzur Ali Shah. The Urus is held here during Rajjab. In the front area are two mosques, locally called Badi Maszid and Madina Maszid.
